I mostly grew up in McMinnville, Oregon practically my entire life, but spent some of my teens years being raised in Guadalajara, Mexico were most of my family is from. After some years out of high school, I decided to return back to school to pursue a degree in Manufacturing Engineering. I chose Oregon State as my main college since it offers one of the best engineering programs in Oregon. For my undergraduate research, I will be joining a group of graduates researching power system protection and cascading outages in power grids. After graduation, I hope to be working in the areas of either industrial or manufacturing engineering, as I want to become the designer of creating competitive products. What I enjoy about OSU is meeting new friends each day and studying at the Valley Library.
